Diaconate Ordination of Andrzej Niski, Saturday 2 July 2016
On Saturday 2 July, family and friends travelled to Saint John's Seminary, Wonersh, for Andrzej's Ordination to the Diaconate.
Originally from Gydnia in Poland, Andrzej moved to Inverness in 2005, and the seeds of his vocation to the Priesthood germinated and flourished. Andrzej applied to the Diocese of Aberdeen, and was accepted as a Seminarian (student for the Priesthood). After an initial period in Rome, at the Pontifical Scots College, with philosophical studies at the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas (Angelicum), Andrzej moved to Saint John's Seminary, Wonersh, to complete his priestly formation. He is currently serving as a Deacon in Saint Mary's, Inverness, and - God willing - he will be ordained to the Priesthood by Bishop Hugh in due course.
Please continue to keep Deacon Andrzej in your prayers, and remember all of our seminarians: Emmet, Rafal, Christopher, Dominic, and Malachy, as well as those who are currently discerning a priestly vocation.
